Nov. 3 (Sat) — Rice Rugby Homecoming Game
At 10:45 Am, the alumni ate their own. A solid, deep, and big alumni team easily beat a young and inexperianced Rice Rugby squad. For the alumni team, the star players were Joe Shifflet ('00) , Thomas Hutchinson ('98), Jay Christian ('03), John Brawley ('04), and Dr. Dick Greene ('71).
Stewart Morris (71), the founder of the Rice Rugby Club, throws a beautiful scrum half pass to Mike Munson ('97). I hope this picture confirms the rumor that Stewart does still play!
